Blokhutten in Cardoso

'We stayed here one night before starting a 3-day trek in Picos de Europa. The hotel was charming, clean and comfortable, the staff was really helpful, and there was free parking across the street where we were able to leave our car during our trek. Las Arenas is a cute mountain town, and everything was easily walkable, including an excellent restaurant across the street, and a bus we took to Sotres for the start of our hike.'

'Gehorige slaapkamers. Fijn dat wel het terras wel gebruikt kon worden om te eten( waar het hotel zelf niet aan voorziet) geen drankautomaat of koffie te krijgen in de avond. Drukte straat ,maar oordopjes zijn aanwezig. bad zonder stop. Ontbijt was goed. Maar alleen met toastbrood.'

'De kamers zijn heel gehorig en dat is verre van aangenaam. Dicht bij het centrum.'

'Perfecte locatie, kan niet beter. Slecht restaurant, geen sfeer, geen vriendelijk ontvangst en het eten leek zo uit de magnetron te komen. Het ontbijt is het slechtste wat ik in lange tijd heb gezien, nauwelijks keuze in brood of beleg. Geen eitje en superslechte koffiemachine. Bijzonder gehorig en tot middernacht spelende kinderen op de gang… Echt jammer want in potentie is dit een top-hotel op top locatie. '

'This is NOT a 4 star boutique hotel. It lacks the maintenance and minimum standards to be a 4 star hotel. The hotel is humid and smells like mold. Our room had a nice amount of spiders and flies in it. We were given a plastic Flyswatter to kill them. There’s no ACs in the rooms, which means even if the air cools down to 26C your room will be very humid. The bathroom and toiletries were very nice, the bed was comfortable. The hotel claims to have working space in the rooms, which is not the case....
