'I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away. The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that.'

'Fantastic view. I booked it for the gym but as with a lot of hotels, their gym is very basic , old and in need of servicing. It seems they have spent more money on a large TV than on the equipment. Its small and cramped with no free weights Having said that , there was never anyone in it , so either they took one look and left of they dont have the type of cliental that are regular gym goers.
