'We booked this house for the view and we really loved in. The street where the house is located is very calm, so every evening we feeled like we're the only ones out there. The barbecue ofcourse also made the outside place feel like home. The garden was maintained well. Inside the house we loved the space and the double bathroom. The contact with the host was really good.'

Owner very nice and affable.initial communications not clear though and hard to get hold of or gainnfull understanding of property which is made up several units with shared areas. Some units far more private than others. Parking tight but ok . Area beautuful and perfect location. House needs some attentiin w new towels etc but all ok and functional. Id stay again but in different unit.'

'Really loved our stay at Guinea Fowl cottage! Spacious, very comfortable- our whole family had a lovely time. Kitchen very well stocked, location was perfect for us to get into both Cape Town and Stellenbosch over two days. We left for safari but would have happily stayed longer. We are all light sleepers and the quiet was perfect. Kids slept 12 hours.. Nozi the housekeeper checked on us each day and kindly answered our questions. Bibie the owner was fantastic. Will definitely come to stay on...

'Wir hatten 5 sehr schöne Tage im Ferienhaus in Fishoek. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt mit Selbstverpflegung braucht. Die gestreifte Couch und der Ausblick auf die Bucht haben es uns angetan. Auf der Terasse lässt sich wunderbar das Meer beobachten, wir hatten das Glück Robben beim Spielen zuschauen zu können. Es ist ein sehr sicherer Ort, Kapstadt ist schnell erreichbar, ebenso Cape Point oder Simons Town. Die Kommunikation war sehr...

'Een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Stellenbosch! Wat een onwijs fijne plek. Midden in de wijnvelden een eigen huisje. Hottub op de veranda met bbq en plaats voor een kampvuur. Het Huisje is ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken (tv, bad, keuken etc) Het was heel schoon en mooi ingericht. Dichtbij grote supermarkt etc.'

'I was extremely happy with our stay! Such a cozy little spot but not far from conveniences like a market and dining and VA waterfront entertainment and more restaurants! Uber is so easy to catch in this area as well! Plenty of space for clothes…I think the only thing I’d wished they had was an air cooler…it is easy and safe to open the windows for that wonderful breeze but our clothes that we washed coold have dried quicker if there was an air cooler! I would stay again nonetheless!!!'
