'Room was disgusting when we came in, long curly hairs everywhere, sand all over the floor, only 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no extras. The whole room was just dirty and when we asked for someone to clean it we had to wait until the next day, housekeeping was also snobby. Also the lights outside of the rooms were so bright it looked like the sun was out at 3am. Blinds were broke. The room was nice and so was the location I just wished the room was not filthy for our stay. Also there was no coffee...

'We requested early check-in at 2 PM so we could drop off our luggage and head straight to the beach. We did not discover the problem until later that night when we returned and were getting ready for bed. We booked a room with two double beds, and both beds had long hairs on the sheets. The bedding did not appear to have been properly changed or cleaned. This was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I immediately called the front desk. 'Overall fantastic stay. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Nice pool. Only complaint and the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the counter and sink in the bathroom is way too high. I stayed with 2 other females. Tallest is 5’2”. We could not reach the sink to brush teeth and wash up. I would not stay here again unless I brought along a step stool.'

'The room was big and neat. I like that the beds were located at a separate room away from the window lights. Tables and chairs in the room were also nice to have. The outdoor pool with DJ was amazing. Indoor pool with jacquizes were very nice to have. The only thing I didn’t like was the slow drainage in the bathtub. I was able to reach out to them about it and the drainage got better. Staff were always nice and accommodating.'

'Everyone at the Lotus is friendly and helpful! They always greet you and take time to talk with you. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with a nicely appointed kitchen, large pull out couch and full sized kitchen table. Plenty of space for families and couples. Conveniently located one block from the beach and one block from Centennial Park. Highly Recommend!'

'Good access to the beach with chair/umbrella service available at no cost. There was food service available at the beach, but was pretty slow, most likely due to the distance employees would have to walk from the kitchen to the beach, as well as probably not enough waiters/waitresses. The food itself was decent for breakfast/lunch. Elevator was out of service when we arrived, not sure if that’s a common occurrence. Pool area was nice with a good amount of loungers.
