Herbergen in Cape May

'We really enjoyed our stay in the Star Inn, Cape May. The rooms were lovely, nicely decorated, cosy but with a modern bathroom, the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.'

'The Ocean Club was a great, last-minute choice for my husband and I for a getaway weekend. The location is facing the beach, where beach chairs and umbrellas await, and a reasonable walk to the shopping street. All staff members were friendly and accommodating and the DJ at the pool kept up a great Playlist. Having said that, this is not a 5 star property (or restaurant) although the price for this weekend would suggest it. Just saying.'

'We booked this room at a non refundable rate. A Nor’ Easter in Cape May County brought flooding through the streets , road closures and business closures. We asked for our two rooms to either be refunded or for hotel credit to be issued so we could use it another time. We asked to move our dates to two days later when floods would have subsided and town would be back in order. All requests were refused. No flexibility whatsoever by hotel. We would have to forfeit the entire cost of the 2 rooms...
