'Check-in was good. Being a silver member I received a bottle of wine. When you see the signage that says "SPA" they don't actually have any spa services. So that's the only misleading thing. They only have one elevator as access so there is some waiting. But overall I enjoyed my stay where it's a 4 minute drive to downtown and you get beautiful mountain views throughout.'

"This hotel was the best place we stayed at on our trip. The hotel had a beautiful lobby and offered a very nice complementary wine and cheese hour every day. The laundry facilities were very inexpensive and the sauna was a nice extra. The only downside was an issue with paying the security deposit for the room with my European credit card. This is the only hotel where I had an issue. I don't know what went wrong, but the staff was understanding and accepted cash (albeit a higher amount). The breakfast was not complementary, but the breakfast-to-go was very tasty and also inexpensive (5 dollars per person). I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Banff NP. The drive is very doable and the town of Canmore offers lots of benefits."
