Cottages in Calahonda

'We hebben drie fijne weken gehad in dit verblijf. De ruimtes waren schoon en ruim. Het zwembad voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. De omgeving was prachtig, er zijn leuke wandelingen te maken vanaf het huis. Rondom het huis zijn diverse fruitbomen en dat is heel leuk. In het stuwmeer beneden kan je heerlijk kanoën. Verder is in het nabije dorp alles wat je nodig hebt.'

'We stayed for four days in this lovely house and enjoyed every minute. It is difficult to find, but worth every effort in doing so. Good house, great garden (excellent for dogs), beautiful swimming pool and a lot of privacy in this house surrounded by palm nurseries. The nice beach of Torrenueva is close by (5 car-min.) and the trip to Granada / The Alhambra is around 30 car-min.'

'De woning en ligging is zelfs mooier dan op de foto's zichtbaar is. De communicatie met de host is voortreffelijk; we werden opgevangen in Almunecar en naar het huis begeleid. Er werd een taxi geregeld voor een uitstapje in de avond en we konden op onze uitcheckdag 3 uur langer blijven. De weg naar het huis is wel uitdagend met smalle weggetjes, maar het huis ligt prachtig in een heuvelachtige omgeving. Vooral de buiten BBQ en pizza oven zijn met dit klimaat een uitkomst. 'Excellent place to stay, lovely pool and garden. Host was really helpful and responsive. We were 10 adults 30 no couples and there was plenty of space for us all. Individual flats are beautiful and fairly well equipped, maybe could do with some ice cube trays and a grater but apart from that all fab. Beds are comfy, including pillows and towels. Stays cool enough with shutters closed in the day and opening up at night to let the air in. The view from the front is so beautiful, the restaurant up...
