« Lovely apartment with a very comfy bed . Area is beautiful and with the mill being next to the Monsal trail the position was perfect for us. Good games room available for anyone not tired enough after walking and the apartment had smart to if you just want to chill. Only a couple of things that stopped this being a 5 star rating for us. Firstly the two sofas are very uncomfortable so not good for relaxing on and secondly the windows could not be opened due to a fault which the owner knew about....

« The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage. »

« We decided to visit Buxton during our free days in the UK. What a treat. We loved the apartment. It was perfect for our needs and in a great location. Communication with Lorainne was OUTSTANDING and she made it very easy for us. We enjoyed getting out to do a bit of hiking and then spent both of our nights enjoying the amazing food and drink at The Old Sun inn. So wonderful there and a short walk from the apartment. We would certainly visit again and stay here. Thank you for your hospitality!!!! »

« The entrance and hallway was dirty, dank, and cold. This sadly lent to a bad impression.However then when we walked into the unit it was warm and tastefully done.
