'Good communication pre visit with host. Clean and tidy. All facilities in place. Nice village location. Parking available for car just outside cottage although parking a bit tricky - tight spot!!'

'Recommended hotel close to Hay. Very friendly and good bed.'

'Superb lovely experience. Staff very friendly and helpful where possible. Cosy, food was fantastic and spa jacuzzi has fab view'

'Terrible place. Beautifully grand building, but dirty with dead flies and stains over everything. One that was once probably beautiful feels more like a squat nowadays. Don’t go at all. Very gross.'

'The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but...

'We stayed in many places on our trip, and this was maybe the best.'

'Beautiful view from the room and the hosts were lovely'

'I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

'Very good accomodation but not over the top.'

'De kamer was een groot stofnest, het toilet spoelde niet meteen door. Ty Morgans is onderdeel van een keten die in het dorp Rhayadar meerdere pubs en onderkomens heeft waardoor we iemand troffen die de kamer alsnog kon laten schoonmaken.'

'The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them.'

'Linda and husband are great. '

'It is located down a farm track on the farm grounds. Surrounded by fields and views of mountains, it’s just stunning. You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you won’t have to see a soul. Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it. The owners are lovely and friendly'

'Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub.'
