'Recommended hotel close to Hay. Very friendly and good bed.'

'We stayed in many places on our trip, and this was maybe the best.'

'The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but...

'Terrible place. Beautifully grand building, but dirty with dead flies and stains over everything. One that was once probably beautiful feels more like a squat nowadays. Don’t go at all. Very gross.'

'Beautiful view from the room and the hosts were lovely'

'Superb lovely experience. Staff very friendly and helpful where possible. Cosy, food was fantastic and spa jacuzzi has fab view'

'A charming, 'old school', hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of stairs to help one keep fit! Excellent choice of cooked breakfasts, with tasty local ingredients.'

'Linda and husband are great. '

'Very good accomodation but not over the top.'

'The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them.'

'Good communication pre visit with host. Clean and tidy. All facilities in place. Nice village location. Parking available for car just outside cottage although parking a bit tricky - tight spot!!'

'Loved our peaceful stay in this very well equipped cottage. It’s in a great location with loads to do in the local area. The cottage has almost everything you could want, including a dishwasher! '

'It is located down a farm track on the farm grounds. Surrounded by fields and views of mountains, it’s just stunning. You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you won’t have to see a soul. Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it. The owners are lovely and friendly'

'Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...
