Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We were very happy with our stay. We had a commanding view of the bay on the 5th floor and really appreciated being seconds from the beach. The pool area was clean and well appointed with chairs and umbrellas. The sitting areas inside the hotel were nice and served well when waiting for a car/Uber.
Staff were very kind and made us feel welcome. The restaurant attached to the hotel was decent, but it proved worth the walk to the Malecón and central business district only minutes away where many excellent restaurants exist. Our room was kept up even better than expected and when I mentioned that the automatic lighting in the hallway was waking us up at night when people would enter the hallway, they made a makeshift exterior blind for our window. Remember to tip the housekeeping staff.
There is only a few items that we had to mention, 1 of which many have, which is the drain system returns a sewage smell into the room that while we got used to it, was unpleasant and could be almost intolerable at times. I wish I didn’t have this concern as it is a blight on a nearly perfect stay.
