'A very clean renovation small apartment with a low ceiling sleeping loft. The bearer and joists are massive oak timbers hundreds of years old. It’s in a great location in the Marais: walking distance to many places of interest. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately thete is a bar opposite where up to a hundred men congregate and chatter till 2 o’clock in the morning .this apartment would only suit heavy sleepers or night owls. '

'From check-in to check-out we had a lovely experience and stay. When Nadia greeted us she knew we were there for the Olympics and handed us an Olympic tote bag (very thoughtful!), had a bottle of wine for us, and showed us around the flat. It was just as described and had all of the amenities including air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. to make our stay enjoyable. 'The studio was nicely presented and clean, and located in a very central area. Check in was very easy and the receptionist very friendly and responsive. 'The 80 stair steps bring you to a quiet studio. Clean and ok. It takes a little gymnastics to get into the bed, because it is tucked away under the sloping ceiling. Various shops and nice restaurants in the area and a metro stop very close by. Contact with the owner is easy. Good for a few days of exploring Paris.'

'If you go to Paris and want to stay in the best location this is the place. You are less than 2 blocks from the presidential palace and across the street to La Bristol hotel. 'Jola was a nice host and very responsive! Everything we needed for our stay was available from disheasher to washing machine and detergent. When we arrived, my kids got disappointed about the entrance and stairs conditions (since they looked so old) but the apartment was nicely prepared. The location is awesome and also there is a market right downstairs if you need anything.'
