'Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

'Great all-round.. only issue as its a pub our room was over the main pub so was noisy until 11pm when everyone left. After that it was great. Great breakfast to. Highly recommend.'

'delicious food, friendly staff, on a busy road, but on the back a nice walk into the countryside'

'Don’t bother going- smells And it’s unclean'

'Great hotel with friendly service and good nice looking restaurant. I was comming in late so they made me a delicious sandwich to avoid going to bed without meal. I received a room with bathroom for disabled people. It would be good to have a squeegee there ;-). Nice parking space but maybe a slow loading station for electric cars would be a nice add-on. Breakfast starts a bit late if you target business people.'

'Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately'

'Simpele maar schone kamer waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. Snelle wifi, lekker bed en fijne douche. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Volgende dag ontbijt voor de open haard - speciaal voor mij aangestoken. Prima diner.'

'Petit déjeuner limité à du pain, de la confiture et du mauvais cafe. Hotel bien trop cher pour la réalité.'

'I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.'
