« The cottage is clean and has everything you need for a great getaway. The kitchen cabinets are labeled and have plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking equipment.We loved taking in the view each morning and evening on the screened in cottage. While sitting on the dock, we watched a majestic eagle soaring. The beds are comfortable and the ceiling fans are quiet. We loved staying at Maple Point Hideaway. »

« Lovely cabin and area. We made it just in time for a beautiful sunset and wish we could have stayed longer. I did not receive any information of Wi-fi access, and while I loved being unplugged it would have been helpful if there was some emergency contact info located at the cabin, since the spot was more remote. »

« Beautiful cabin on a private lake. Cabin was very clean, fully stocked, and very comfortable. The hostess responded to text quickly and was so helpful and gracious. Would definitely stay again! Will also recommend to others traveling up that away. The only comment i would have is, and this is not a negative comment, is there is no wifi or TV. Phone reception was very limited. There is so much to see and do in that area that you really don't miss it until you return in the evening. If you...

« Beautiful house with plenty of space and fun! Kids loved the games downstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub while listening to the rushing waves of the lake! Overall, great experience! We were between Mackinaw, Sault Ste Marie and Tahquamenon falls! »

« Great place to rent! Check in was super easy. Emails came in a timely manner and we had the code to unlock door before checking in! Everything was just as pictured! Nice little cabin with all the necessities! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay, nice and relaxing! We were visited by an Eagle family early in the morning! We visited Sugar Daddy Bakery, the Yooperlite store, Mission Point Cemetery and Pickles Bar & Grill. Would definitely stay here again! »

« This cabin was perfect for our family of four. It was secluded from neighbors but not far from the places we visited. The kids loved the s’mores supplies. If we come back to this area again, I would definitely see if this property was available. »

« We enjoyed the bunkhouse and it's quiet and peaceful rustic setting both inside and out. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do (hike bike and relax). The sandy roads were not ideal for our biking but we managed to find some semi paved rds, the places we hiked were perfect as was the bonus trip to the Shipwreck museum and miles of walking along the shore of Lake Superior. Our biggest complaint was the mosquitos! We could not seem to get away from them!! Next time we would consider...

« Property was a ways from town and had to take a ferry to get there, but my fault for not reading description carefully. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well stocked towels, bedding, cooking accessories. Owner responded in a timely manner. »

« We had a great time during our stay at the Rustic Moose! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for our 2 night stay. The pictures don’t do the beach area justice- beautiful sand and no people in sight. Felt like we had a mile of coastline all to ourselves. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves traveling to the area again, thanks for a great stay! »
