'We really enjoyed staying at this little cottage. We have been coming to the Jackson area for years, and it was great to find this place that had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the proximity to the Memorial Hospital which we ended up having to visit while we were there. I have never met such nice people at a hospital. Linda was a great host who went over and above what we expected. We will be back again!'

'The Wee White Cottage is at the end of a private road. In October when we stayed we had the neighborhood mostly to ourselves. It was wonderfully quiet. The cottage is rustic but nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It felt like home. The lake is only steps away. If I had to use only one word to describe our stay it would be relaxing!'

'The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful with the AC not working and the smoke detector going off in the middle of the night. The property was mostly clean except for the windowsills (we had to open the windows to air out the woodstove smoky smell downstairs) and the used kleenex on a kitchen shelf. The bed was very comfy. 'We have stayed at several properties at Point Sebago and this one was the best. The cabin was clean, updated and had all the conveniences of home! We had a minor issue with the grill tank and Tom happened to be up there and came and helped us right out. It was a quiet neighborhood which we truly appreciated. Our kids loved the wooded area behind the property and all the “wildlife” (tiny tree frogs and moths, lol) they saw. The sleeping options were also a favorite, they had many places to choose...

'We stayed just after storms had came through the area so understandably some of the property's attributes were not accessable to us. The floating dock was pulled out of the water and placed on the beach area, which didn't leave too much bank area for fishing, and obstructed the view of the water from the chair swing. 'We had a few hiccups (cleaning company hadn’t come) but fortunately the people before had left the house in good condition. The owner was so really responsive and tried to fix the situation as quickly as he could which we really appreciated. Also, The top bunk does not have a rail so I would avoid having kids up there if you can!'
