'Photo in the Hotels.com emails is not this hotel! On arrival there were no tea making facilities in the room, but this was provided on request. The TV was unable to receive many channels, including BBC1 and BBC2. There was no shaver point.'

'The Greenland's was a good hub for us. Good shower, well priced drinks, good pints of Guinness and Coors. Was some minor cosmetic damage to the wall of bedroom but would definitely recommend to stay here. Great Location, Great Showers, Great Staff and Great Pints.'

'Cheap and Cheerful, it was perfect for staying close(ish) to my destination to save me a stupidly early start on the sunday morning. The family who own the place were really friendly and being close to an authentic indian curry house (or 5) offered me a perfect evening before getting an early night.'

'Simple straight forward, pick up keys and enjoy the area. The pub offer some tasty choices and Apple desert ticks the box. Room was large without being too big and with windows front and back plenty of natural light. Heating was just right with an additional portable heater if needed, but didn't need it. They also provide an Iron and Ironing board which is a nice touch. My one niggle was there is no heating in the bathroom, as the weather was mild it's not an issue but come November it might,...

'Nice clean room with a good selection of tea and coffee, miniature toiletries in the bathroom and a comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with good options for vegetarian and vegan diets. It is a bar with rooms above so just be aware that especially if staying fri or sat night it is going to be noisy. (They do provide complimentary ear plugs!)'

'William was very accommodating and very helpful. He's friendly and easy going. He made me feel welcome and comfortable. There are also friendly local customers that use the bar as their local pub, which was refreshing to see. In additions, William is preparing his kitchen to start serving hot food. This will be an addition to their good services and I wish them the best of luck'
