« Tried to charge me for a room I already paid for. Then tried to charge me a $20 pet fee when the Hotels.Com site specifically said $10. Room was FILTHY, baseboards hadn't been cleaned in years. Stains and scuffs all over walls. Left me one tiny bar of soap that was literally smashed in the package into crumbs. Water was barely above room temp and took a good 5 minutes to warm at all. « When we arrived, the keypad wouldn’t work but fortunately the front door was unlocked. The host returned our phone call eventually, but cell service is very poor in that area. Overall, the stay was excellent. You do have to haul off your own trash, which is a little frustrating considering we also paid a cleaning fee, but the dump is close by. The house is super spacious and the windows in the living room are BEAUTIFUL! Great view and amazing sunsets! We loved the house! »

« We had a wonderful stay. Owner/innkeeper was a delight. The family did an amazing job with the restoration of the place. Bed and Breakfast and was outstanding. We will definitely book again when we are visiting that area. Glad we decided to book there instead of the hotels in Halifax or the nearby towns. »

The kitchen was extremely well stocked with anything you could need to prepare meals for a large group. We were there for a three day family get together. « This house is so pretty, great deck in the back for morning coffee and cocktails at sunset with a good amount of.parking and a beautiful lake view. We celebrated my son's 30th birthday with family and it was fun time with the right amount of room for us. The pool was perfect and a short walk to the lake. The food market was 10 mins away. The host was very accessible and helpful with questions. »
