« Very clean and well appointed with a LOT of extras that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Close to excellent hiking trails. It was a big plus that pets were welcomed as we brought our 2 beagles who had a great time too! »

« First, the house was well equipped and very nicely appointed. It is a very comfortable house to kick back in. Communication from the owners was exceptionally clear and they went out of their way to answer question I had.Second, location is great. Its on the road to Blue Ridge tunnel and it's a quick hike to the entrance. It's also a stone's throw from 151 and all its vineyards and breweries. Highly recommend.... »

« This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes. »

« Wonderful place to stay for a family reunion-kids loved the pool and frisbee golf. The owners even had pool toys for the kids to use! »

« There were a few little hiccups, the top bunk bar was not attached (not an issue as it wasn’t fully needed) and the oven was broken but I message the owner and he replied back very quickly. Neither were an issue for us. The house was perfect! Plenty of cooking supplies for our crew of 12. We loved the deck and spent plenty of time out there and there were more than enough towels for everyone. The check out rules were very clear and reasonable. « we visited Waynesboro to see my brother and sister-in-law after their recent move from the Northeast. The house was extremely welcoming and very clean. The first floor bedroom was a perfect fit for my 97 year old father. The beds were comfortable and the table was large enough for a family meal. Backyard was also a bonus! Great spot and close to all activities. »

« House was perfect for a weekend of skiing. You’re able to walk to the resort from the house which was a huge plus since it was a packed weekend. Overall great stay! »

« Our stay at View with a Room was the perfect spot for a relaxing recharge. The location was ideal as it was close to several wineries, breweries and hiking trails. « The house was very clean and entry was easy once we found the lock box. The open floor plan was especially nice for our family group of 10. All the bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances were new and all worked well. The kitchen was very well stocked with small appliances, dishes, flatware, cookware, and spices. We really enjoyed the large deck with a view. We ate every meal alfresco! It was a memorable July 4th weekend for the entire family! »
