« Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. »

« Spotless room, really comfy bed, great shower and bath with plenty hot water. Bar was busy but a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite and helpful, all round and excellent little pub with rooms, we will be back. »
