« Lovely hotel. Welcomed us & our dog. Excellent walking area at the back of the hotel for walking the dog. Had a Sunday roast which was as good as mine! Breakfast was so large, I didn’t have to eat again that day! »

« All good - Hotels.com need to relist the economy rooms without breakfast. We bought our breakfast which was very good. Staff friendly and willing to asdist when beeded. Lovely pub and friendly village. »

« Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. »

« From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. »
