'Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

'My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. '

'The home and surrounding property are even prettier in person! The location is private and tranquil with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding property. The home is immaculate and very stylishly decorated. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds and linens are so comfortable! I would highly recommend this lakeside retreat! '

'The bathroom was dirty. Upon check in I asked that someone go in and clean it. When I returned to the room, the bathroom was still dirty. No one cleaned the room the first day. When I asked about it, I was told that they were short staffed. Unbelievable way to operate a hotel! Don’t stay here!'
