'This was a bait and switch. The pool was the only really nice part of this house. The rest of it, inside and the whole property was really old, and a lot of it was dirty. The swing set was filthy and the tennis court which had an old garden over parts of it were both unusable. The gazebo and dock were falling apart with nails sticking up. The washer and dryer were in the basement that we weren’t supposed to go into. We did go there, and there were spiders all over the washer dryer so they were...

'My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. '

We loved spending the evening around the fire pit and were so appreciative that the wood and fire starter were conveniently provided. With a short walk we were able to take in the lake views. The home is in close proximity to orchards for local produce, state parks, and Hudson. Leticia was a pleasure to arrange plans with and was very responsive to follow-up questions. '

'The pictures didn’t do this place justice — it’s even more beautiful in person! The fall views over the orchard were stunning and we loved watching deer wander by in the early morning and at dusk. The rooms were perfectly sized, the kitchen was perfectly stocked and there were tons of games and movies for the kids. The host was incredible and gave us great local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. A perfect, quiet fall getaway — we can’t wait to return!'
