« It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. « Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The cabin was cute and a nice location. Communication was lacking. We did not get the key code sent to us until we had no service to retrieve the message. After a 6 hour drive we had to drive to find WiFi in order to get access. One of the deck chairs were broken and the grass in the yard was uncut. Overall though the cabin was as described and we had an enjoyable stay. »

« Bonnie and Steve were excellent hosts. The communication with them was great. They provided us with suggestions for places to visit and were incredibly friendly. The house was beautiful! They did a great job renovating it and the whole place was impeccably clean and had everything I could think of. There were lots of hiking opportunities in the area that we took advantage of, too. It was just a great experience all around! »

« The cabin wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was mud and dirt on the futon and the floors and the vacuum that was there did not work well. Also the shower didn’t drain well because the pitch of the floor slanted the wrong way so you stood in water the whole time while showering. But other than that it was okay. »

« Very clean, private setting. Pet friendly. Enjoyed the pool and front porch! Beds were very comfortable, but the first-floor bed with the Jack and Jill ensuite was too high for seniors to climb into. I traveled with my 87-year-old mother and 94-year-old aunt; they had to use the upstairs bedroom with the lower queen mattress. Great place for a larger party. »
