'I really liked the property and surroundings. Easy drive to the restaurants and a beautiful area. Hotel was fully booked so I could not change the room to have water view but the noise from the street wasn't impacting my sleep. Staff was professional and helpful. Price was on a higher side but room was clean, spacious, and everything worked well.'

'It's a very nice, clean motel. Staff are friendly. We stayed one night before taking the ferry, and it was just what we needed. The furnishings are a little dated but the bathroom is newly renovated and very modern. The whole unit was very clean. Continental breakfast is free and includes boiled eggs, cereal, juice, yoghurt along with the basics like bread for toast and coffee, etc. The room has a small fridge and mini coffeemaker.'

'Pros: Very affordable. Walkable to most shops/restaurants. Easy check in/check out. Room was clean. Cons: No outlets in the washroom. Outlets in the bedroom are on the opposite side of the bedside table (had to wrap the cord around the bed & mattress). Bathroom is very cramped - no counter space. In room coffee was terrible. Property is old - definitely showing its age.'

'We booked this hotel to be able to swim with our two year old and at arrival we were told that we (families with kids younger then 16) were only allowed to swim with her between 6 and 8 PM and 9 and 10 AM. There is nothing on hotels.com that informs about this. Between 6 and 8 we normally have dinner and she goes to bed and we needed to leave at 9 AM to get the ferry and they could not make an exception. Next to that the bathroom is tiny and the shower very slippery, which made it very hard...

'Leek op de foto's wel mooi, maar is toch echt wel heel erg aan renovatie toe. Bij binnenkomst is het of je in een natte caravan stapt, was tot onze verbazing wel redelijk schoon. Omdat we met 4 waren, stond er 1 bed in de keuken en was er verder weinig leefruimte.De airco maakte ongeveer hetzelfde geluid als een opstijgende F16 en was dus ook niet bruikbaar. Zeker geen aanrader!'

'This is a fraudulent listing. When we called to check-in the phone was answered by an intoxicated person who refused out stay. VRBO provided us no ability to cancel or return our funds. From my conversation with the intoxicated person they are a tenant that is renting the home illegally.'

'Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and...

'De ligging was mooi, maar het de kamer was niet schoon. De ramen waren zo vuil, dat we er niets doorheen konden zien. Ook het servies was niet schoon. De code van de voordeur was oud, en moesten we een half uur wachten op de nieuwe. De eetkamerstoel viel bijna uit elkaar. Deze kamer moet een keertje goed gereinigd worden en alles repareren wat nodig is.'
