'We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range...

'Cute place. I enjoyed my room - especially the fireplace and my bed was super comfy. The biergarden was closed so I didn’t get to visit that part of it the property. I had an early flight out of Dulles the next morning so I let her know at check in that I would miss breakfast. Other B&B’s I have stayed at packed me a breakfast to go when I let them know I had to leave early - no such luck here. Which is fine, it’s just a nice touch. 'Everything was great'

'Everything stood out! This place was perfect for our early family Thanksgiving - we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. It was so warm and inviting. Also, we were lucky enough to meet Brian upon our arrival and he was so welcoming that it was easy to see why his house felt like home for us. We had everything we needed and honestly couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Rappahannock County area of Virginia, I highly recommend that you choose this one....

'Like a woodland cabin in Michigan’s UP. Very cozy, lived in and welcoming. Rustic with books, games and good internet. Very clean, quiet and safe in a rural area. What was visible was a hobby farm and a host waved a cheerful greeting while feeding the animals. Exactly the opposite of a fancy sterile hotel room. '

Our dog loved running in the fields and jumping in the stream. Our host was very nice and responded quickly to our questions, kitchen very well stocked. We had a lovely time.'

'The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. '

It would have been an ideal base for a trip to Shenandoah had that been part of our itinerary. It's just a short walk to the Inn. The house was a welcome destination after the meal and wine. '

Immaculate and comfortable, the bedrooms and baths were perfect for us. We made little use of the kitchen beyond morning tea but it seemed fully equipped. We loved walking on th grounds and to the winery. Highly recommended.'
