'Enjoyed annual family vacation in this large house. The 12 of us had plenty of space to enjoy the house and wonderful view. Very well equipped. Local manager most helpful to resolve a few issues. Highly recommended for a large group. '

'Rented this house for accommodations for wedding in Clayton, Georgia.'

'We stayed here with a group of teenagers for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The property was beautiful, the farm animals were fun to watch. We enjoyed the privacy so the kids could talk on the porches, and we loved the fact that the loft was full of beds, so nobody had to feel left out. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of tools and some spices. Plenty to do nearby, quick access to grocery stores and great hiking/swimming. We would stay again! '

'We loved the wide open view of the sky over the mountain. We watched the sun set while we sat in the hot tub. This little house is just 3 miles from the Hemlock Falls trail, which is gorgeous and ends at a swimming hole. The house is clean, comfy, and a great getaway from the city. '

'Clean, everything functional. Used the outside grill one time and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this property for any small group or couple. Great access to Clayton, minutes away.'

'Very clean cabin nice and away from the main road. Had bad wifi would sometimes be able to connect on the front porch but not a guarantee. Was really nice to unwind and disconnect. We both got lots of reading done. Would love to stay here again.'

'My wife and I needed a weekend away to rest and recharge. We spent a lovely weekend in this cabin. It was clean, accommodating and just what a couple would look for in a time for peace and quiet. Tanya was helpful when I lost the original instructions and responded quickly. The cabin was perfect for both of us to read, cook and enjoy each others company. 'Loved having the coffee and filters available. Thank you for that important feature. The purple body wash smelled delicious. Foam mattress pads made sleeping quite comfortable. Communication with Robert was ongoing with quick responses. The decor was in keeping with a mountain/bear theme. The location made our treks to hiking trailheads quick and easy. Clear instructions. 'Except for the steep driveway in, the cabin was wonderful! We had everything we needed for the weekend. We especially loved the chimes from the nearby church. Peaceful and serene....we will definitely be back!'

'If you like charm and nostalgia, this 1940's cottage is for you. On-street parking leads up several stone steps through a beautifully landscaped yard, giving a secluded feel despite being a convenient, one-minute drive to Clayton restaurants and shops (it's very close but not walkable). The home is very clean and comfortable with nice touches like a vintage fridge and farmhouse sink, screened-in porch, and huge main bathroom with a claw-foot soaking tub, barnwood walls, and chandelier. 'Very nice property. They had everything you need but food and your clothes. The property manager or owner was easy to get in touch with. The house was pet friendly and the property was nice for my dog.'

'What a fun getaway. Gorgeous location and accommodations. Well stocked with spices, coffee, toiletries, games, books, etc. Correspondence and attention to our inquiries was timely. Driveway was steep and a challenge since we were in 1 of the largest vehicles out there, but we managed. Go for it.'

'Great Stay!This was our second trip to Lake Burton and the Burton Lake Escape property. Our first trip was late winter and this time we wanted more time in and on the lake. We got it! The property is located in a wide cove that allows for great kayaking/ canoeing and swimming. We were able to rent a pontoon boat from The Boat Shop and it really enhanced our stay. The property is really well provisioned and the host great to work with. By the way it is dog friendly and our golden retriever...
