« Bien pour les gens de passage (comme nous). Pas de petit déjeuner (200 mètres à pied). Par contre la responsable n'avait qu'une chambre de réserver et on lui a montrer qu'on en avait deux et elle n'a fait aucun problème pour nous fournir la deuxième. »

« I chose Countryside Motel after reading several of the reviews, which I found to be very accurate. I found the family/staff to be very helpful and friendly, my room was very clean, and offered all that I needed for my stay. A wonderful restaurant was directly across the street, and the owners were also very friendly and helpful. »

« Room was old . Bathroom door handle broken. Paint coming off the walls in bathroom. No toilet paper dispenser. Sheets were old and yellow one of the sheets were stained. Door at the end of hallway kept slamming all night. Towels were stained and ripped. No telephone in room and television was a problem to work. Beds are short and hard to get in and out of. »

« The "apartment" is an extension on a house with its own convenient private entrance. We arrived late at night and the seemingly complicated self-check in directions we received turned out to be very simple. It was also very easy to find a variety of dining options nearby in town.We did not use the pool, but the interior "apartment" was lovely. « The house was spotlessly clean kitchen was well supplied with dishes pots & pans if cooking is needed. Bathrooms were very clean. My only comment is that the kitchen and living lights should have dimmer switches has the lightning was very bright . We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Putnam Valley »

« We loved our stay! The decor is so welcoming and we loved the heated bathroom floor! We were lucky to get snow and a crew came out and shoveled the driveway, front porch and walkway and salted. Sarah was very responsive and the house is well supplied. We hope to come back and use the lake in the summer.. »
