The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. 'Splendid little lodge. Good heater’s, perfect for the terrible weather we unfortunately had. We could turn them up when the gale was blowing and the hail came, then down again when the sun did decide to show. We still had a lovely time and managed some bird watching by the river and talking to the ducks! The beach was great, we even got a good sunset one evening. 'Had a fantastic week in Easter holidays. We were 2 families of 4, and there was plenty of room. Bedrooms were good size and beds were really comfy. Kitchen very well equipped - and also looked well set up for families with younger children too. Family space was great, nice big garden. Lovely tranquil setting - we enjoyed spotting the pheasants and deer in the garden. Great location - close to some gorgeous beaches and local attractions. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t).
