« I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. »

« This is an out-of-the-way gem (but easy to get to). Clean, and close to shore to hear waves crashing. Host was superb! Unit was smaller than expectation. Hard to use luggage rack and move around. Not so certainly about "see whales and dolphins" - but maybe it was wrong time of year. Checking and communication with host was great (5/5)! »

« You probably shouldn’t post this. The view from the room into the rain forest was lovely but it would be nicer if the cabin had an outdoor sitting space. The amenities were bad- insufficient regular coffee, coffee machine malfunctioned & had to be replaced, thin small towels & only 2, no soap in the dispensers or in the Nivea bottles in the shower, the sink soap dispenser had watered down soap so it was useless. The bed was comfortable however. I would not recommend this unit. »

« Great property. Awesome place if you are going to HVNP. Only about a 8 minute car ride. Host was very ggod about communicating with us about check in. Cottage had everything you would need. »

« I really liked that the cabin is surrounded by tropical plants. The room is quite clean. The entry code provided by the platform and the host are different leaving us a bit confused. The shower water pressure is really low. After I complained about it, it is fixed by the maintenance person on the morning of my last day there. »

« This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully...
