« The historic aspects of the hotel are all present. I also really loved the location - right in the middle of everything. I had a standard room with two beds. The bathroom was a bit grungy. We had a bathtub but no plug to actually use it. The carpet in the room was pretty nasty - I would definitely not walk around barefoot. We also had a stranger try to enter the room (with a key) at 7am. Luckily we had the chain on and they couldn't get in. I called down to the front desk and they didn't seem...

« This was the worst stay I have ever had at a Holiday Inn, by far. We are usually very happy with all Holiday Inns. To begin with, we ordered groceries to pick up upon our arrival for our family to have for lunches and snacks. We loaded the refrigerator, not knowing that it was broken until the next day. « Check in was horrible. There was an issue between Expedia and the hotel, the hotel clerk was very condescending about it. I quickly contacted Expedia and they called the hotel within minutes to resolve the issue. However, even though I was standing in the lobby at the counter, the clerk put Expedia on hold and helped other guests making me and Expedia wait 25 minutes before solving the issue which I believe was an error on the hotels end to begin with. « The room was clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a nice view of the lake. There was a Murphy bed and foldout sofa. The Murphy bed was adequate but fairly hard. We weee there for the Arkansas Derby so the town was very full and neighbors were very noisy. I still would stay here again. »
