'If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. '

'The lodge itself is a nice size and carpet and furnishings were clean and comfortable. I would suggest the en-suite showroom shower is blocked and doesn’t drain away and there is a smell from drains but not unbearable. 'The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

Stayed in loads of lodges previously and this one stood out due to the little added extras such as doggy welcome pack and bathroom toiletries pack which included shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, body wash all stuff which you would expect to get from a hotel. 'Had Mole End and Woodpecker booked for a long weekend with friends. Gorgeous location with some amazing sunsets luckily! Mole end was really clean and surprisingly spacious given it only sleeps six and it was really useful having the two cottages next two each other - we were mainly based in woodpecker but it helped to come and go. Would definitely stay again!'
