'Great property for 3 people. It was well equipped very clean . Location perfect for Hawkeshead for all amenities. Will definitely return.'

'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

'A really lovely hotel, staff were attentive and friendly. The facilities, especially the spa were really fantastic and a cut above others I’ve visited. The breakfast was excellent and I really loved the decor and picture collages in the dining area. Thank you for a lovely stay.'

'Superb hotel right on the lake and right next to the boat trip and the steam train . Very relaxing , rooms ate lovely clean , great views over the lake .'

'Mooi kamer op een mooie plek'

'The city double was so much better than expected. Spacious room and big bathroom. Breakfast had good choices. The gatsby bar was a beautiful area to sit and drink the night away. Staff were very attentive.'

'The hotel has a car park, however you its a extra cost per night. Its advertised as having amenities such as a gym and spa. This is also at an extra charge. We wanted a dog friendly hotel, this was the most disappointing aspect. It felt like a after thought, the room was tiny and and a annex part of the hotel on the ground floor.'

'Staff were great but there were very clear signs of wear and tear which for the price was poor. Outside seating area was very worn and tired. Black mould in the corner of the room. Threadbare bath mat. For £800+/night the upkeep of the room should have been a lot better.'

'Substandard food. Unwillingness to listen to feedback. Over inflated prices'

'Klein kamertje met piepkleine badkamer, slechte bedden en dat voor 120,00 per nacht. Het ontbijt en ligging was oke gelukkig'

'Really nice location and grounds'

'Great hotel. Lovely room. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast very good. We cannot find any fault with our experience. Good job. Kind regards Sonia and Neil'

'Not usually one to write a review but I had to this time! From the outside looking in you would think this is a beautiful place to stay but in my experience it was anything but! For some reason me and my wife were put in a disabled room to start with? Which we found odd! Stated on our reservation that we had a double bed, we didn’t it was 2 singles pushed together? We then booked a table at the restaurant expecting a nice meal, after waiting 15 minutes for a member of staff to actually show up,...

'Loved the balcony, more like a little garden. Very comfortable stay, spa bath in room was a nice surprise. Spa facilities were good amazing ❤️'
