'This is the second time we stayed at this property. Karla is a wonderful and responsive host. Eating breakfast on the lanai was a great way to start the day. The property is the perfect size a for a couple. The kitchen has everything you need. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the Hilo side of the island.'

'Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone.
This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town).
