'The property is a little out dated but the location is excellent. You need to go grocery shopping and stock up the fridge and pantry with your essential items as eating out for every meal will cost you an arm and a leg. Don’t expect room service as these are units that you lease. We had the corner room overlooking the marina and the beach. 'Nice holiday apartment. Spacious and clean. Two storey block and they've had some significant flooding recently so all the ground floor apartments were being refitted while we were there. But our upstairs apartment was fine and exactly what we wanted. '

'Spent a week with Family at Toogoom retreat. Plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have some chill out time. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house which was fantastic. They even catered for the little ones (high chair, portacot, cutlery etc). The mosquitoes and sand flies are relentless during early morning and late afternoon (not just by the water but around the outside of the house as well) so make sure you take plenty of Bushman’s and mosquito coils.
