'We really appreciated the upgrade to a Royal suite! As an all inclusive resort that has high volume of food preparation, I had one issue with milk that was starting to sour. Secondlly, on the trip home I developed Traveller's diarrhea. However I could not pinpoint the source.'

'Rose is a wonderful hostess, and her staff are friendly and helpful also. The proximity to the quiet and private beach with the reef so close, and the kayaks available made for a totally relaxing time, a totally safe environment. The gardens surrounding the establishment were well loved and attended, and so colourful! It was wonderful to share plant knowledge and care with all staff. Upon arrival Rose made a trip with and for me for groceries, such a terrific service! I would definitely stay...

'Everything about this hotel is, in our opinion first class. We would highly recommend the all inclusive, the restaurants options are very good bearing in mind it’s not a massive hotel, the cocktails are amazing and I’m not sure where you would have to go if you wanted to eat out! '

'quiet close to the beach well cared for'

'Voormalige britse kolonien staan erom bekend dat het een rommeltje is. Rex Resort en Antigua zijn daarop geen uitzondering. Het weer en de vriendelijkheid van sommige lokale bevolking maakt echter wat ons betreft veel goed. De openlijke corruptie bij het verlaten van het eiland(Embarkation tax $210 was wel de limit wat mij betreft. 'The beach is gorgeous and the staff are fantastic. Good selection of non-motorised water sports, bed is comfy and the free minibar (soft drinks only) is a nice touch. Only reasons for 4 not 5 star rating was that I thought the on site restaurants were a little over priced for the food as were the drinks, and shower gels etc we’re not replenished (minor touch I appreciate). '

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'
