'Small hotel, but with excellent service. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this place 100%!'

'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is the place for you. With Carribean island vibes, the Escape does nothing short of making sure you do escape from the norms of life. Staff were nothing short of welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much. Food was good too, and plenty of cocktails to choose from! A definite recommendation! '

'The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes from the airport and the city center. The staff and the owners are extremely kind and accommodating. The room is very spacious and clean, and at night you can only hear the sound of the sea waves. The hotel's restaurant is a must-try. The lobster fettuccine and the pizza are exceptional.'

'Very nice hotel, with incredibly beautiful beaches, but there is a big problem with the food — you always have to stand in line for 20–30 minutes just to get a cocktail or something to eat. The staff are friendly, but there simply aren’t enough of them for the number of guests. The food is tasty (if you manage to get something), but for the only restaurant you need to come at 6:00 a.m. to register for a 7:30 seating. The selection is very limited, but you won’t go hungry. 'Good in many respects but our timing was bad. Apparently spring is the time when sargassum weeds move in. The beach at the property (and anywhere on the north and east side of whole island was unusable). They clean things up but it takes a few days and we never even got to walk on the beach. Housekeeping could be more prompt (they tried to make it up after I complained). Property in general was good but for the price paid I am not sure it is best value.'

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'
