« This is one of my favorite places to go! The grounds are so beautiful any season. The staff is so professional, extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we learned that the company sold to another company and only gave the staff 2 weeks notice that they would no longer be able to stay open. The restaurant was closed which was dissapointing as the food was so fabulous. I hope they reopen with the same feel as Desolation Hotel. »

« What an amazing place to stay!!! We were welcomed by a sweet Lab named Bear and the lovely owner!! It was a simple facility with such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere!! The fire pit was beautiful and relaxing. The beds and bathrooms were just the relaxation this teacher wanted!!! THANK YOU!!! »

« The room was spic N span! The staff was so helpful, courteous and accommodating. Due to no air conditioning & opening the window, the ceiling fan was just not enough for cooling. I would recommend making the wall unit a duel combo making it AC & Heat. Besides excellent lodging accommodations, the recommendations for restaurants were excellent - the Stonefly offers the best fine dining. For drinks and simple meals, the Cutthroat Restaurant offers very good food items. We experienced a...

« Peaceful and quiet stay. We slept so well with our toddler in the king bed. An optional rollaway bed was also provided. Doing a load of laundry after a couple days of camping, one of which was rainy, was spectacular. Close to Calaveras Big Trees state park which we visited the following day, just 8 minutes up the road. Bring your own dinner if planning to arrive late. There’s a microwave and a mini fridge. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. »

« Superbe halte dans la Sierra Nevada idéalement placée proche des séquoias. Notre chalet près d’un petit ruisseau était spacieux et avec une vraie cuisine . Personnel très agréable . Piscine jacuzzi et billard accessible gratuitement . Étape reposante et parfaite »

« Wonderful modern condo with great layout and amenities - want to stay here again! Thank you! »

« Great stay. We were off season and wanted something south of Tahoe. This location was perfect for a couple zero days while hiking the PCT trail. Laundry on site, bring quarters. quiet. »

« Host communication was A!! Perfect spot »

« My partner and I loved the studio, beautifully decorated, and clean! We will definitely be coming back. »

« The location of the place was great with easy access to Fly in Acres and BLS. The place is quaint upon arrival yet not conducive for elderly people. Parking is on an upper driveway with two options to walk to front door. One of which is a wooden staircase in poor condition. The quaint cabin was cute upon entry, but with further exploration we found it dirty and in poor maintenance condition. Upstairs was hot and the floor fan was broken. The upstairs bathroom had water damage causing a chunk...

« Cozy, fun, and easy drive to town. No pool access but close to White Pines lake. Host was responsive and place was clean and lots of activities to do. Love the wrap around deck facing the big trees. »

« This is a great location, very beautiful. Love the room and the cleanliness.. »

« We've been visiting Arnold every summer for years, and we all agreed this was our favorite place. The house is beautiful and well decorated. We loved the different levels we could hang out in. My son loved the kids room with the bunk beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we ate every meal on the balcony that felt very secluded. It's in a great location, just 5 minutes from the grocery store. Spencer was a wonderful host and was very quick in responding to my questions. We can't wait to...
