'Schoon, rustig, vriendelijk'

'Breakfast was excellent. Had American and Japanese selections. Was the most beautiful hotel, staff was very helpful from checkin to checkout. Helped with taxi driver and language. All staff spoke English. Walking distance to 7 Eleven and small food store. Very, very clean.'

'Modern style hotel well located close to Yokohama station. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choices. Room had a bath but no shower, which I believe is not uncommon for Japan. Can highly recommend.'

'Hotel New Grand is old school hospitality, where a guests is treated like a celebrity. They are all amazing at their job, with their kindness, attention to detail, and the pleasant atmosphere they help create. Of all the hotels I've stayed at, there are only 2 other hotels that come close. Easy 5/5 stars, and definitely a hotel I'd recommend. '

'I was very impressed with the overall facilities. The hotel was close to the port, and there were many places in the Port area to visit during our short stay there prior to our cruise. The price of the room was also extremely reasonable.'

'It was situated well and close to the station. From the station the whole of Yokahama was at your finger tips with a SUICa card. Short trip by subway and bus to Chinatown. Hotel clean comfortable with very attentive staff. Reasonable priced stay. Perfect location for Cruise. If u want u can do train to bus right to cruise terminal.'

'Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Lounge area on 7 very nice. Nice breakfast. Sizeable laundry. Takes credit cards.'

'It is a bit dated but ok breakfast is good and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood'
