A shallow stream running through a swamp (background) is what's left of a paleo river at the Sungai Batu excavation site. Carbon dating on iron ingots and other findings at the site indicate a port civilisation, with a thriving iron smelting industry that predates Angkor Wat, Cambodia and Borobudur, Java. The room was nice and clean, they clean them daily. The staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations. They were also very helpful when my wife injured herself paying great care.
