Overall we had a lovely overnight stay at the Cricketers Inn and would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. '

'My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Cannon room is beautiful with a stunning bathroom which housed a large roll top bath and double shower. The his and hers sinks were well appointed and stylish. The mattress was too soft for our liking however this is a matter of opinion and others may like it. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant at the hotel and were impressed with the presentation and service. The staff were very professional, polite and helpful and made us feel welcomed...

'On arrival at the Hawk Inn I was greeted in a very polite and friendly manner. Booking in was extremely simple, I love the express booking in before arrival. My room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice touches such as mini fridge for drinking water and some fresh milk instead of little milk jiggers. And delicious homemade shortbread instead of plastic wrapped mini selection. There was also a nespresso machine in case you didn’t fancy the instant type plus tea bags. Bathroom had a great...
