Cottages in Barnardsville

'Exceeded expectations. I love details. And this place has them. From the decor to the creamer in the fridge (thank you for the nut pods). It was perfect for us. Lovely host, felt like home away from home, great vibe, decor, location, neighborhood, safety, beauty - had it all. We didn’t want to leave.'

'Quaint and cozy cottage. Great for our long weekend stay. Thanks again!'

'Shirley is very easy to work with. She is available to give you all the cool information you might need or want about the best places to shop, eat and/or drink. She knows just about everyone in town. She is as charming as her cottage and garden. It was the most relaxing vacation. She gifted me a beautiful bottle of wine my 2nd night there and left me fresh local peaches on day 3. Her and her housekeeper were both attentive but not intrusive. It is my hope that I have the opportunity to travel...

'Excellent!!'

'I made my way south to visit old friends. The property was as listed. It was clean, quiet, and well located. The staff and owner were pleasant and helpful. i would stay here in the future on my next visit to the area.'

'Beautiful property with many conveniences of home and absolutely pristine clean facilities. Property is delightful and quiet, a wonderful place to call home while enjoying the winding roads and mountains all around. The only caution I offer is that the fold out bed is probably not suitable for anyone too tall. My husband and I are 5”9’ and 5”8’ respectively and we were quite comfy, but there would not be much more room in the sleeping area for more height. We had a marvelous motorcycle long...

'Wonderful house. Beautiful views. Excellent hosts. I traveled with family while I had business in town. Hosts thought of everything. Game systems for the teenagers. Pack n play for my baby. Accessible hosts by text/phone. Short drive to downtown Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely return. Be mindful if you travel with anyone with mobility concerns...parts of the driveway are steep due to the mountainous landscape. Overall a wonderful property. '

'I absolutely loved this serene place. It reminded me a lot of my grandparents’ home when I was growing up. It was the perfect getaway for parents who needed a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While some people found it too isolated, that’s precisely what we were seeking. '

'History buffs will especially appreciate this house. The owners have come up with a good compromise between historical accuracy and modern livability. The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes. There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close. Easy access to the River...

'Great property with awesome amenities. Enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all amenities the property had to offer. Checking in was easy and all important information was conveyed in advance. Property was clean. Would stay again.'

'I could have given 100 stars. Ellen is so nice and Jarrett’s creek is amazing. If you appreciate the true meaning of cottage, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Also the kids had a blast playing in the creek.'
