'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'We had to change rooms 3 times!!! The first room we were given a key to was Occupied!! The second room, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet running!!! The 3rd room ..the refrigerator didnt work..it was Horrible!'

'We checked in late, as a one night sleep, during our traveling south vacation. The room had everything that was advertised but wasn't as new or clean as the pictures convey. Our one queen bed was so worn out that my wife slept in a hole and I did a balancing sleep on the edge of bed trying to not fall in the hole on top of her. 'Drug paraphernalia on the nightstand. Sheets have stains , sink and room not cleaned before checkin. Left this hotel mid-stay to go to another. Expedia nor the hotel refunded my stay even though I provided pictures'

'The room was not clean. There were food items under the beds and the couch. There was no shampoo or body wash. They handed me body wash with no top and filled an empty bottle of shampoo that wasn’t meant for shampoo. The outlet by the bed doesn’t work and is coming out of the wall. There is rarely a staff member available at the desk, and they don’t answer the phone number given.'

'Parking was fine they said they had hot tub or jets in the tub there were none the hotel needs serious repair needs. The sheets on the bed appeared to have not been changed, the shower head barely trickled water, the wallpaper was peeling of the walls at there seams, it was just not at all what the photos shown and was the worst I had ever seen.'

'The lady at the front desk gets 5 stars! The hotel was apparently oversold and she had no rooms that had not already been paid for. But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." She did not need the added stress but was very kind and helpful through it all. My only issue which is no fault of anyone there but the water pressure was barely enough for a decent shower.
