'Kamer was redelijk van afmeting en het bed was goed. Wel een betere kamer dan de standaard geboekt. Lobby en restaurant waren nogal gedateerde ingericht. De kamer lag aan het terras waar zich ook het enige en kleine raam bevond. Dus voor de ventilatie moest het wel open blijven. Gelukkig geen andere gasten `s avonds op het terras, want dan zou je geen oog dicht doen vanwege hun gepraat. Het hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg, dus oordoppen mee!'

'I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

'Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.'

'Andrew and Michelle are wonderful hosts and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable - great hospitality. The hotel is well-situated, just a short walk to the shops and across from the beach. Free parking is available around the side of the hotel, but the spaces are tight - just something to bear in mind when driving there. Amazing breakfast! Clean and nice rooms, with tea, coffee and a kettle, and a lovely sea view. I would happily stay here again.'

Negative, the window did not close. No breakfast. Light from hallway shines through cracks in door. No one around during day time, one has to walk to the "mother house" to have contact with a person.'

'Take care about what type of room you book! They don't make this clear on their website, but... We booked two rooms for quite some money and when we arrived it turned out that we had to share a bathroom with the whole floor! by the way, this bathroom had a carpet?! Very nasty if many people use the shower in one morning... Rooms are small and windows can not open. which makes the place smell like grandmothers attic...'
