De kamer onder het dak had jammer genoeg geen uitzicht en was niet geruisloos..Maar toch heel nette kamer en badkamer! Ontbijt heel verzorgd door vriendelijke medewerker. Kwaliteit prijs meer dan waard

Goed hotel ontbijt is zeer slecht
Leuk hotel met oké kamer. Prima om te doen als je op doorreis bent. Het enige wat enorm tegenvalt is het ontbijt. De kwaliteit van het ontbijt laat te wensen over. Koffie uit een poeder automaat of uit een koffiepot. Beiden kan anno 2021 echt niet meer. Eieren en jus zijn ook van een bedenkelijke kwaliteit. Geen koffie- of thee voorziening op de kamer.

Zeer proper, zeer vriendelijk onthaal, alleen het bed is nogal hard. Ontbijt is ok - maar niet super. Ligt op 5 minuutjes van het station, en een kwartiertje van het centrum.

Echt heel goed hotel! Ruime kamers, ruime badkamers, goed personeel... je kunt er ontbijten, maar aan de overkant zit ook een prima ontbijttentje. Ietsje verderop kun je de was laten doen voor € 3,95 per kilo en je kunt lopend het oude dorp in via een lange winkelstraat.

Wat een mooi hotel
Dit hotel is gevestigd in een oud gebouw, typisch Portugees van stijl. Het was allemaal heel mooi gerestaureerd, met veel smaak. Een mooie traphal bvb. De kamer was ruim, goed bed en mooie badkamer. Goed ontbijtbuffet. Wifi (gratis) werkte zonder problemen op onze kamer. We vonden een gratis parkeerplaats op straat; voor de hotelparking moet je extra betalen). Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en hielpen om mijn incheck papieren voor het vliegtuig af te printen. Om te voet naar het oude centrum te wandelen is het misschien wat ver (zoek absoluut naar het oude visserskwartier, zeer gezellig, met veel kleine restaurantjes)

Perfect stay at Vera Hotel!
Loved my stay at this centrally located hotel! We were walkable distance from all points of interest, including the canals. Knowlegable front desk staff helped with the purchase of tickets for the gondola ride and salt mine visit. The room was bright, cozy with a small fridge and roomy closet. The outdoor patio was a lovely surprise and made for a perfect place for a glass of port after a day of sight-seeing. Wonderful buffet style breakfast included making this an exceptional choice when visiting Aveiro.

Positives: Close to train station- 5min walk. 10min walk to city. Lovely decorated rooms and corridors. Clean and crisp linen. Good amenities. Air con in rooms. Minibar fridge was useful. Sitting area in the lobby with TV. Friendly staff from housekeeping to reception. Negatives: Broken paths out on the street. No views from the room (well onto ruins of neighbours house).

Great small hotel uptown but walkable to the canals and tourist area. Incredibly helpful staff and spotlessly clean. Good value and nice breakfast - parking a little challenging given nearby construction but spots on the street are only 2 euros for all day. Would definitely recommend this to other travellers!

Very close to the railway station and when we arrived from Porto at 1pm the room was ready. The staff are all lovely. Breakfast is great value and we ended up having it both mornings (we didn’t need to eat again until the evening!) Have to give a shoutout to the fantastic self-service 7 days a week launderette immediately across the road:€5 for wash and tumble dry including the washing powder and fabric conditioner which are included as standard!
