'I am a dad that was doing a solo-trip up to see the area I grew up in. I just picked something cheap and easy.This property is great. The sound system, is amazing stayed up too late watching movies! Hahaha. I would be shocked if someone couldn't find a movie that they really enjoy in the available collection. 'We have rented quite a few cabins in this area of Maine. This one is by far the best! Easy check-in, the cabin itself was extremely clean, especially considering dogs are allowed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and even the little things like dish soap, dish scrub and even baggies. We loved the outdoor space and location to the lake. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!'

'Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before...

'This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!'
