'Cute little place tucked back and secluded into the woods. We had a bike race in Alpena and needed a place to get some rest before and after. This was the perfect spot. The back porch was perfect to relax on while it rained the day after. Will definitely be back when needing a break from phone service and real life.'

'The Gaylord location was perfect for our Newberry UP and Grand Rapids family to meet for the weekend. Having bedrooms on three different levels supplied ample privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare large meals with plenty of dishes and utensils. Beds were fresh and comfortable and bathrooms had tons of towels for our group. 'The place was nice but the photos online were a bit misleading, making it seem as if the property was bigger and that the water was more easily accessible. On top of that they appeared to be doing construction and had stuff sitting around everywhere.'
