The accommodations were beautiful, and I truly enjoyed the gym as well as the hotel’s prime location. The check in staff were lovely and made sure to try to make my stay special for my birthday. That said, I encountered four distinct issues during my stay that management should address. First, no matter how much I adjusted the thermostat, the temperature never seemed to change, which left the room feeling humid and uncomfortable. Second, room service was consistently slow—on three separate occasions, it took at least 30 minutes for staff to fulfill requests. Third, upon arrival, I noticed what looked like a wine or lipstick stain on the bedding. I called and requested new linens, but the replacement set was also stained. The most pressing issue, however, was privacy. I placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door before heading out to dinner, yet when I returned, housekeeping had entered and performed turndown service, moving personal items in the process. I immediately called the front desk to express my concern, but my complaint was dismissed without acknowledgment or resolution. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its food and atmosphere ( espicallly for a celebration like a birthday), but guests should be aware that there are still several operational issues that need attention.
