I arrived to check in at the Tucker, Georgia location after booking through Expedia and had an awful experience. The lady at the counter named Kelly instantly became frustrated when she realized my booking was through Expedia. She pulled up my booking and I paid the $2 administration fee. She then proceeded to tell me that the virtual card being sent over from Expedia was declining and I needed to call Expedia. I reached out to Expedia and was told that Motel 6 needed to contact the vendor to re-issue a new virtual card. Kelly refused to contact the vendor stating that she can’t call anyone. I then called the vendor services number myself and was unable to reach the hotel vendor customer service option so I called Expedia back. The hotel themselves contacted Motel 6 and spoke with Kelly requesting for her to contact the vendor to receive a new virtual card and she refused. Expedia then contacted the vendor and connected me with someone from vendor services who stated that Kelly was over charging the virtual card which was causing it to decline. They contacted Kelly themselves and asked her to retry the virtual card and they provided her with the correct amount and she refused and disconnected the call. I was then booked another room somewhere else by Expedia. Long story short, MOTEL 6 needs to hire people that wants to work because Kelly does not want to do her job! This was a BIG inconvenience for me and my husband and I will be requesting compensation!
