Better than this will be difficult to find …
Hotel is perfectly located, near the center of Assisi but still outside the crowds. Public parking in front of the door and also private garage available. Staff is very friendly and helpful, for example we could get breakfast half an hour earlier. Our room was spacious and very clean with every comfort. Restaurant is also recommended. The spa and the garden are beautiful and very zen.

Dit hotel is gevestigd in een klooster dat smaakvol werd getransformeerd naar een modern , design hotel voor de veeleisende reiziger.Het is op wandelafstand van het centrum van assisi. Het hotel beschikt over een eigen te betalen perfecte garage, als alternatief kun je met je wagen ook terecht in de ondergrondse parkeergarage van het plein waar het hotel gelegen is, waarschijnlijk is een dagticket dan goedkoper dan de 25 euro per dag die het hotel aanrekent. Wij verbleven in een "niet-standaard" kamer met een zitkamer beneden en boven een slaapgedeelte met kleine badkamer. De AC werkte perfect bij de hoge buiten temperaturen. Het bed- en badlinnen was van hoogwaardige kwaliteit en de handdoeken werden meermaals per dag vervangen en aangevuld. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en doet alles om de klant te behagen. Het zwem- en sauna center is mooi, proper en aangenaam. Het ontbijtbuffet is met verse produkten en ruim voldoende .

Don't Stay Here If The Weather is Hot
The temperature this summer in Italy has been in the 90s and this should be no surprise this hotel. When we checked in to room #7, we were asked for our preference in room temperature, which was 20 degrees (C) and our host confirmed this was possible. Two hours later the thermostat registered the same as when we entered (25 C). I called the desk, and they said give it time. 4 hours after check-in it was still at 25. I asked for assistance. They sent a technician which reported the room was working fine. Really? When we returned after dinner at 10 pm, the room was at 25 C. I believe the hotel knew that 20 C was never possible due to their inadequate AC system, but they never disclosed this. The room was not comfortable for sleeping, and if I knew this at check-in I would have left and chosen another hotel. Since I prepaid the room on Hotel.com they could not offer a refund. I had a bad night of sleep because the room was too hot. In fact, in the morning, when it was 75 degrees outside, the thermostat was still at 25 C. The property is beautiful, but I also wish their Hotel.com description accurately described the Spa Suites, which can be on two floors with a steep staircase. The bed and bathroom upstairs and the living space downstairs. I am disappointed that the hotel is not prepared for summer heat, and since I have been traveling in Italy all month, this is the first hotel with an AC problem. So, if you plan to visit in the summer, pick a different place.

The property is stunning in a perfect simplistic manner. Set in a spectacular Umbrian hill top town, the views, the aesthetics, the friendliness of the staff could not be any better.

Sublimely designed property both on the decor, the garden and the fantastic spa. The staff was professional and yet personable which is not easy to accomplish. Divine breakfast daily and dinner at their restaurant Benedikto.

Perfect November stay
We could not ask for more. Nun Relais&Spa is the real peaceful place in the hearth of Assisi, from where you can easily discover the old historical center just walking. Everything is just perfect, from the phone call to reserve the Spa access with Roberta to the warmest welcome we could ever had with Elisa. The barman(whose name I forgot to ask) prepared for us an incredible signature cocktail. We chose a Deluxe and we were surprised by a huge balcony overlooking Rocca Maggiore. Time at the Nun Spa was the best pampering moment of the day. Breakfast is so rich and served in a beautiful room with unique floral touch. The doorman who took care of our luggages was so accurate and gentle. The saddest part was leaving but we will definitely be back.

Per il Nun nn si possono esprimere che pareri positivi. La struttura si trova in un’ottima posizione fuori dalla zona ztl di Assisi. Di fronte c’è un ampio parcheggio a pagamento ma noi, nn sapendolo abbiamo sfruttato quello dell’hotel per la cifra di 25 euro al giorno. Le camere sono ben curate e pulite alla perfezione. Colazione ottima e servizio sempre impeccabile. La struttura è inoltre provvista di una spa davvero incantevole. Forse l’unica nota che segnalerei come area di miglioramento è proprio relativa all’area spa. Durante il nostro soggiorno hanno avuto accesso alla spa anche persone esterne e molti, ignari di come si stia in un’area di relax, urlavano tra una vasca e l’altra rendendo la presenza davvero poco piacevole. Una donna si è addirittura spogliata all’interno del bagno turco. Personalmente nn ritengo la spa di un hotel il contesto per farlo. Escludendo quindi questa parte che riguarda più chi accede alla spa (ma che la struttura potrebbe evitare destinando alcuni orari ai soli ospiti), consiglierei il nun per la qualità e la cortesia del personale e per la struttura meravigliosa di cui dispone. Essere in un hotel e sentirsi a casa e’ il miglior modo di viaggiare. Di certo ci torneremo!

A flawless experience in a truly outstanding luxury hotel and spa. Fascinating structure (it's a former monastery), kind and effective staff, beatiful views from the restaurant terrace, and a unique spa nested in the remains of a roman thermae. To top it all, Assisi is a cultural and architectonic gem.

Et fantastisk sted bygget over St.Catharinekloster fra 1200 århundre. Nydelig restaurert, flott spa og Benedict restauranten var fantastisk første kvelden, men ikke samme standard andre gang vi var der. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Suite molto bella e accogliente. Peccato per la porta in vetro del bagno, che non assicura la giusta privacy anche se a livello estetico è molto bella r in linea con il resto della stanza. Migliorerei anche la tv, una smart non co starebbe affatto male... La Spa è molto piacevole ma il classico bagno turco mi è mancato. Nora positiva la cortesia del personale, dalla reception alla sala colazione fino al ristorante.

Il soggiorno é stato estremamente piacevole, l'hotel ha una Spa fantastica, ristorante di alto livello e un giardino dove fare anche colazione nel quale ci si rilassa in un istante. La stanza era nuova e abbastanza grande anche se con un ingresso non dal corpo principale dell'albergo. Il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, un particolare ringraziamento allo chef con il quale abbiamo avuto delle piacevoli conversazioni.

The Nun Relais is an exceptional hotel. The attention to detail was extraordinary and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The quiet location at the top of Assisi was just what we wanted, and we very much enjoyed the beautiful gardens of lavender and rosemary. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends!

Struttura del 1200 molto bella. Pulizia della camera accettabile. Nessuna informazione su come abbassare il riscaldamento. Personale che necessita di formazione sull'accoglienza. Qualità della colazione accettabile ma nulla di particolare. Per il prezzo pagato ci aspettavamo una qualità molto superiore.

Relax e serenità
Ottimo relais, bello il posto sia le camere come le zone comuni. In particolare c’è un bel giardino tra gli ulivi dove ci si può rilassare in tranquillità. Il personale è molto attento ed efficiente. Controllano le camere più volte al giorno. La spa è affascinante visto che si trove all’interno di reperti archeologici di età romana! Ci si sente coccolati. Splendido posto, consigliatissimo.

Location fantastica e, nonostante le 5 stelle, mantiene anche un'atmosfera informale. La SPA ed i relativi servizi aggiungono un elevato valore al soggiorno. Consigliato come base per visitare l'Umbria.

Stupendo!
Posto incantevole, appena fuori le mura di Assisi, immerso nella natura. Spa suggestiva e curata in ogni dettaglio. Meravigliosa la zona relax. Buona la colazione ma rispetto al servizio offerto, suggerirei di ampliare un po’ la scelta dei prodotti.
