'We stayed at this hotel while visiting Machu Picchu, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall. The hotel is located at a higher elevation in Aguas Calientes, which makes carrying luggage there quite difficult. I asked the reception if they could assist with luggage transportation, especially since several other hotels in the area offer complimentary luggage transfers, but they were unwilling to help. 'The hotel was a good value for the location. There were minimal amenities and at times I felt as though I was in a hostel. The walls were super thin. There was no water provided without purchase. However, the breakfast was amazing and the location to the train and entrance to Machu Picchu could not be better.'

'Someone was in my room when I arrived. The hotel wanted him to go but I don't want a room that is not clean. They gave me another room but the hotel had no water at first then no hot water for the duration of my stay. The light outside the room was not working so I had to use the light of my phone.
