Blokhutten in Apple River

'The house was perfect for our little getaway.'

'Everything was perfect when I arrived. The beach was not as pictured'

'My gosh this place is so adorable and cozy. We stayed only one night, but already have plans to come back. The communication ahead of our arrival was great. The check in was smooth. The location is quiet, beautiful and serene. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a bit.'

'We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.'

'Everything with the house was excellent for our family to enjoy. We appreciated the middle of the night snow removal. The owner called us to tell us the 2” snowfall would be taken care of, a very nice gesture.1'

'The facade of the house belies the fact that it is enormous inside, with commodious bedrooms and baths, a lodge-like living room with a stony fireplace, a big kitchen well stocked with appliances and all necessary dinner, table and glassware. There is also the "secret" Theater Room, a cozy space with well...

'We loved our stay here! The mid-century decor was so fun! There were so many cool little details to discover. Plus, the location was phenomenal! It was so private, and surrounded by trees and wildlife. We even saw a baby deer when we arrived. The hot tub was a great way to end a busy day, or to start one. And the Japanese soaking tub was a pretty neat experience as well. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, but not much space for storing non-refrigerated food that you bring....

'Wonderful experience right on the Mississippi River! Hosts Dan and Annie were very friendly and attentive to our needs. We recommend this space highly and would definitely come back.'

'This was a fantastic place to stay. The hot tub and sauna overlooking the river were both amazing. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Great place if you’re traveling with a pet'

'Check in and out was really easy. A beautiful place! The cabin was comfortable and well stocked. Bellevue is my hometown and it is a wonderful place to visit and stay. The cabin is right on the Mississippi River. '

'It was perfect for our overnight needs in the dubuque area . Gorgeous cabin!'
